When considering HDMI cables for your home theater, remember the distance limitations in place with smaller gauge conductors. Many lower-priced HDMI cables have wire gauge starting at 30 AWG for shorter lengths and up to 26 AWG for longer lengths. Our Highest Quality cables feature 28AWG conductors in the shorter lengths and up to 24AWG conductors in the 50 foot lengths. This thicker conductor size ensure the highest resolution picture without the need for an HDMI repeater (usually required on lengths greater than 15').
